Raw
Goats Milk:
My dairy
is licensed for the sale of Raw Goats Milk for
PET
CONSUMPTION ONLY.
THE ONLY
WAY RAW MILK
OF ANY
KIND
CAN
CURRENTLY BE SOLD LEGALLY
IN
GEORGIA!
I milk my
goats every day, twice a day (approx. every 12 hours),
year-round.
My goats
milk is sold on the farm, by appointment, for $6.00 per half gallon, or
$7.00 delivered. Eggs are $6.00 per-dozen and rabbit is $8.00 per pound. I
deliver all of my farm products anywhere within a 50 mile radius of the
farm for a minimum order of 5 gallons of milk, 12 dozen eggs, or $70.00
worth of rabbit, or any combination that equals the minimum of $70.00. If
you want to add on to an already existing delivery site, or would like to
meet me along one of my already existing delivery routes, there is no
minimum order.
To order,
email me at: nyrlerealgoats@gmail.com
or call my
cell at #404-310-6265
Email is
usually the best way to reach me.
It still
may take a day or two, though, for you to hear back from me. Your business
IS important to me. If you haven’t heard back from me in a reasonable
amount of time, please try again. I am only one person, and I am the one
doing the milking, bottling, labeling, packaging, scheduling, and
delivering, as well as running the rest of the farm. My days start early
and end very late. Your business is important to me, but I may not be able
to get to my messages every day (by phone or email). Saturday is my
busiest day of the week and I usually do NOT get a chance to check
messages reliably (phone or email) on Saturdays. We are closed for all
business on Sunday. So, if you call or email on a Friday evening, it
could easily be Monday or Tuesday of the following week before you hear
back from me. I appreciate your patience and understanding.

********** About The Farm **********
Robinson
Family Farm is a very small family-owned and operated, diversified
homestead. We have been at our McDonough, GA location since 1991, and have
had goats for over 23 years. NYRLE Real Goats Dairy is a major part of
this farm, and has been state licensed and running since 1997. Our milk is
licensed for PET consumption ONLY. We sell fresh, RAW, whole goats milk,
farm fresh eggs, and fully-dressed, state inspected domestic
rabbit.
We have
always raised our own pork, and now offer the opportunity to our customers
to provide the highest quality farm raised pork to their families. We
breed and raise a small number of heritage breed pigs each year, and will
raise a pig for you. Check out the details on the new “Pigs”
page.
We
encourage our customers to come out and see the animals, farm, and milking
parlor so they know firsthand the health of our animals, the level of care
they receive, and last, but NOT least, the CLEANLINESS of our milk
handling from goat to bottle. We strive to produce CLEAN and WHOLESOME
products.
We proudly
stand behind every product we produce and offer an unconditional
money-back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied with ANY of our
farm products.
We prefer
customers who want to know where things come from and demand quality in
what they buy.
Most of
our goats are registered Saanen dairy goats, but we have recently
incorporated a few Lamanchas and are excited to see what positive
influence these new genetics will have on our overall milk quality. We are
also implementing some Guernsey genetics through our AI breeding program,
and also look forward to these crosses for additional dairy animal
improvements.
We are on
standard DHIA test, and have Linear Appraised off and on throughout the
years. Our milkers have won multiple top ten awards in the past,
specifically for butterfat, which averages 3.8 to 4.5 %. Our goats make
rich milk from intense rotational grazing, high quality locally grown
legume hay, and limited high-quality grain-based feed formulated
specifically for dairy goats. We believe in taking the best care of our
animals so they will produce for us for many years.
The entire
herd is Certified and Accredited. This means that they have been tested
and consistently (year after year) found NEGATIVE for both Tuberculosis
and Brucellosis. This testing is required by the state for commercially
producing dairy animals.
Our entire
herd is also CAE (Caprine Arthritis Encephalitis) negative (re-tested
annually). We pride ourselves in maintaining healthy animals.
We have
shown our goats on a national level in years past, but now have barely
enough hours in the day to keep the farm running smoothly. In the past,
showing our animals was how we got time off of the farm as a family and we
enjoyed getting together with our “goatie” friends that we only got to see
at the shows. We do miss them and think of them fondly and often (as they
truly know and understand our lifestyle). However, I do NOT miss body
clipping goats!!!!!!!
Please
check individual pages for details on what our farm has to offer. We
welcome you to come out and see the farm by appointment.
Sincerely,
The
Robinson Family
Jeff,
Yvonne, and Tori
(Old
Goat, Goat Lady, and
Kid)
